I have studied at the Architectural Association for 4 years (including foundation) and have been a part of this incredible community-based association.
My architectural identity lays heavily on relationships of a space and how architecture can be perceived as an experience. I also have worked on and am very interested in the architecture of the 'real' while working on new ways to enhance structural materials and reintroduce materials that are eco-efficient this past year.
Scroll down to view my project 'Ground Below Zero' which focuses on this very subject. This project was recognised as one of the best technical projects of the year.

This project focuses on 'Earth' as a construction material while taking a special interest in forming a prefabricated series of components that can be assembled in different spacial arrangements. The project also responds to the current climate crisis and looks at ways to enhance the material and its impact. The prefabricated rammed earth panels are designed to be time and labour efficient and to be put together by construction workers. The diversity of shapes and sizes existing within the kit are created to allow for ease of design while looking to create for a specific programme or space.

While focusing on modern social relationships, the project deals with intimacy and transparency within private space. The focus is to create a student accommodation and introduce 20,000 students to stay in. While the design understands the 'isolation' which has emerged from domestic interior and the sense of superiority given to privacy, it creates a space comfortable enough for the inhabitant to feel private yet it creates moments of relationship between the inhabitants while still within the boundary of their private space. At its core, it is a project about introducing a new way of cohabiting a space and creating relationships within the boundary of that space that could not exist otherwise.

‘Translation of a Unit’ focuses on the material which has been produced over the period of two terms in between intermediate students of inter 12 and creates a platform and a space of conversation using the unit space.Within this brief, a proposal is put forward for the AA exhibitions 2018-19 which showcases the work created within the unit over the past academic year. While the exhibition itself acts as a suitable platform for the work created, which communicates with people learning about the unit, it also serves as an opportunity for design.

ARCHITECTURE
This small collection showcases the work that was created by me within a small 'Media Studies' course called 'Painting architecture'..
Throughout this course the main focus was developing drawings using projections such as axonometric, orthographic & perspective, as well as drawing not as a final outcome, but as an iterative process to explore certain investigations, tectonics, and stories

A selection of work created within the short course 'Printed Matter'.This course considers the form of the book as a site for architectural exploration, while
viewing architecture as a rather physical and hand held piece and exploring the forms of representing and experiencing architecture.
